Uwe Boll - Director and Producer
Boll is a controversial German movie director who has previously filmed several computer games - The Storm however is from an original script.Uwe Boll recently filmed his movie 'Darfur' in South Africa, and he is currently prepping to shoot his movie 'Max Schmeling' in Germany.
Tim McGregor - Script Writer
McGregor describes Final Storm as an apocalyptic thriller.The script was written on spec a couple years ago and the executive producer, Andreas Olavarria, optioned it from McGregor and tried to get the film set it up with a couple of different companies in Los Angeles. Olavarria met Boll summer of 2008 and the two started talking projects and that led to Boll reading the script. Things started happening in October, the script went through a few rewrites and cameras rolled beginning of December.
McGregor has two other features under his belt. The horror/comedy Bitten (2008), starring Jason Mewes, was co-written with Tyler Levine and produced by Peace Arch Entertainment. Ultimate Killing Machine (2007), an action thriller starring Michael Madsen, was also co-written with Levine and produced by Peace Arch.
The Canadian Film Centre graduate currently has a handful of projects in development with production companies in Canada and the United States
